On second thought, I think this is a good opportunity to pass on this. I can sample aromatics until I'm sick, on smokingpipes, with the 40 bucks it'll cost to ship that thing. Go ahead with your audit, sir.

Oh wow my apologies. Must've miss read the list in the box, or maybe gotten the pages mixed up. I gotta say it's a decent box as is, I've only had an opportunity to sample 5 or 6 blends but there's a lot of good in there.

Not to mention the goodies I'm about to add to the box! Let me know either way, no pressure from me, just want to see where this experience goes.

If the rest of my week is looking like today I'll probably be ready to ship Box 2.0 by/before this weekend. I'll do a quick little audit/update for everyone too before then.

Severely delayed but here is the State of the Epic Box Address.

When the box left me this week at the end of the First Round of Circulation, it looked a little something like this:

Bulk Tobacco/in Ziplocks:

C&D "Old Joe Krantz"
C&D "Smooth English"
C&D "Sunset Harbor Flake"
Mac Baren "Scottish Mix"
Mac Baren "7 Seas"
GLP "Virginia Cream"
GLP "Haddo's Delight"
Samuel Gawith "Kendal Flake"
Stokkebye "Luxe Twist Flake"
Sutliff "Sobranie #759"
Peterson's "X'mas '15"
Prince Albert "Cherry Vanilla"
The Squire "Sunset"
The Squire "Fountain Crune"
The Squire "Bodega Bag"
The Squire "Walter's Choice"
@7charbs "Maker's Spark"
Russ "Coco-Nut"
"March Model"
Newminster "No 17 English Luxury"
Kramer's "Danny Kage"
Clan Aromatic
"Dark Bird's Eye"
Amphora "Black Cavendish"
"Mixture No 79"

And 4 no name/no label bags.

Open & Sealed Tins:

Samuel Gawith "Squadron Leader"
GH&Co "Ennerdale Flake"
GLP "Quiet Nights"
Low Country "Waccaman"
SPC "Plum Pudding"
ESO "Tilbury"
Le Petit Robin
Black & Milds

Misc/Others:

Hand Sanitizer
Paragon Wax
Pipe Cleaners
Savinelli Balsa Filters
Carbon filters
Sir Walter Scott's snuff
McChrystal's Raspherry Snuff
Amphora Panel Billiard Pipe

What I added:

GLP "Cairo" opened tin
C&D "Epiphany" open tin ---> apparently a match for Einstein's preferred blend.
SPC "Mississippi River" open tin
C&D "Bayou Morning Flake" ziplock
Dan's Tobacco "Salty Dog" plug
GH&Co "American Sweet Peach" ziplock

And also two of my personal blends -
"Swirl Milkshake Frog on a Log" --> Frog Morton on the Bayou match attempt with chocolate-vanilla-milkshake topping
"Devil's Blend #016" --> collection of stronger Virginias (shakes of McC's 40th too), perique, and some burley/cavendish to balance.

If anyone ends up trying my blends would be very curious to hear your impressions!

It's seems like it's been a while since we've heard where the box is. Status?
I received the box a few months back. Still haven’t opened it. Lol.

There has been a lot of movement at my work since I was promoted to management. Not sure if I will be able to do the next box pass as coordinator. If any one would be interested let me know.

Toker -

Since I was the last to send you the box, I'd be happy to further this cause if there's enough interest for another round of box passing. What will a fairly "stationary" year, I'd be for once happy to have an excuse to get down to the Post Office ?

Still got the box. In fact that’s partially what prompted me to get back on here. The ultimate answer to all your questions is life happens.

Now I didn’t open it till just the other day. There was a lot of great tobacco in there. Being the moderator of something like this takes it’s toll. I am planning on doing it again and picking up where it left off, that being said we had gotten to the end of the list. The next one is going to have some slight tweaking to the rules and will have 2 moderators besides myself( just way to much work for one guy/gal). Those interested in being moderators please DM me so I can start working out some details.

If your wondering I hardly touched any thing in the box since I opened it. Couple blends I hadn’t tried yet just a bowl or two.

Unfortunately, there will be no more box passes. The last one we had, some guy disappeared with the box about 2 years ago. Oh wait....

That looks to be around 2 years worth of smoking in there! 🤪
