Ennerdale Flake

Hadn't had Ennerdale for months till seeing this thread a couple of weeks ago revived my interest. I opened the jar to find it completely plumed. It now has a tin note of brown sugar. Delicatessen! ?

I got my order from this latest drop. I have a daughter that went through her Hello Kitty phase and smelling this tobacco reminded me of the smell of those Sanrio Hello Kitty erasers. Definitely not what I was expecting. I'll smoke it tomorrow.

I just received my 10oz sample yesterday and had a good whiff. The rose geranium is a smack in the face, but I can’t wait to give this one a go.

Having smoked my way through an oz of Ennerdale I have not found much in the way of Lakeland/Rose Geranium sauce in this stuff. To be honest with you I call the stuff 'Innertube' as I would probably get more of a wallop smoking one of those things. I checked with another member here who seemed to confirm that this batch was light on the sauce. I'll buy some more when there is a new drop of G&H tobacco just to compare but this time round all I got was almonds and something that tasted a lot like Peterson University Flake but YMMV.

Yep, they dropped the ball on this batch. Some Ennerdale I've had in a jar for five years is a stronger Lakeland than this recent stuff.
