English Rustic" 16, Restore with a Little Bit of Red

So here is a English Rustic" 16 that I got from an antique store. The rim was completely covered with tar which I had mostly cleaned off before I took the pictures. The problem was no matter what I did the pipe was coming out ugly(at least to me). So finally decided to try some red and it that worked quite nicely.
