It seems on tobaccoreviews that they have this marked as currently unavailable, so good that you've held on to some. Does this compare to Early Morning Pipe?
It's still readily available here, but maybe they aren't exporting it anymore. I find EMP to be a bit too mild, at least compared to Presbyterian or the 7 Reserve. I'm letting my EMP sit for a bit and then I'll go back to it and see if I don't change my mind.
Looks like TP.com has plenty in stock. I think 7 reserve has more flavor and a little more body to it. I found EMP mild and lacking in my opinion. Still a good smoke, but 7 reserve was a more fulfilling smoke and great flavor.
If you like the Red Rapparee, go for the Black Mallory next.
my girlfriend loves the smell of pipe tobacco period except for english blends. I smoke a VA or burly or whatever she'll tell me the pipe smells great. I smoke an english she says it smells terrible like a cigar.
I think the first one I had was Match - Sunrise (I walked into my B&M and asked for a mild English blend to dip my toe in). Was a good intro. Kind of wish I had just jumped headfirst into Balkan Supreme and Black Mallory though ?
