Okay…okay… I followed embers until 6:30 PM. Nothing strange happened. I’m not dead (yet). I unfollowed embers (picture proof below) just to make sure I survive the night (which is not guaranteed as no one has ever followed embers this long and lived to tell about it); but to be honest, this was uneventful! ?

@jaytex1969 , you gotta come up with better unofficial holidays. Perhaps switching to tequila will inspire you? ??

I spent the ‘holiday’ planting trees in a cheap and reviled pipe with a white dot after a 16 hour shift. I only ate about 12,000 calories today. Tonight I will clench a meerschaum pipe the size of a Volkswagen. It will be filled with pounds of yenidje highlander and you’ll never see even a wisp of smoke. Yarrr matey.?

It's freakin hot around here, already. Mid 90's today in Austin. I can't wait to get to Knoxville!
