Lol fell off the (or on?) the wagon for a bit and switched to cigars for a spell. Otherwise I've just been gettin older and crankier. lol How have you been?
Some days good, some better. Did you come here to push me off this here bowl shape debate hill? Ha ha. The battle is sorta lackluster. I had a better day yesterday, gouging out eyes of people recommending Sutliff swill as a replacement of McClelland's. Lotsa murder. It was fun. puffy

I thought Mixture 79 was the new McClellands?!? Have I been away to long?!? Speaking of which, my hiatus did allow my cellar to age nicely, I just cracked a tin of 2013 Christmas Cheer to share with a new piper that had never smoked anything but Captain Black. Was a great day of fishing and bonfire tales to be sure.

Mixture &(
I make that mistake so often, That I immediately knew you had typed Mixture 79, ha ha. But, be careful. We can no longer make fun of it. It is a protected species now, with a handful of forum members actually smoking that shit. Can you believe that? In the old days, we'd have instantly broken someone's noses for even suggesting it as if it were a real pipe tobacco. puffy

I just got this Stanwell Brushed Black Rustico with a pot shaped bowl. I was hoping it would have a bowl diameter of .08 inches like it said, but it is definitely just shy of 3/4", but oh well. It's not very deep, and it has a lot of character. I'm breaking it in with Orlik GS and Sutliff Virginia Slices. My question is, does it's distinctive shape and thick walls lend itself any advantages? Disadvantages? Any specific (even if subtle) effects on how it smokes? With specific tobacco types? Just curious if anyone had any insight into this.
Just bought the same pipe and have the same question.......

Say La Vie ?‍♂️ If it was good enough for Hef then who am I to judge. I still enjoy the odd edderdale flake when I want to reminisce about how my grandma's handbag smelled..... and for the continuation of the tread I enjoy smoking it in a Zenith ceramic zulu shape.

Can it not be that Mr. Inks is, in this case, wrong?
Good God, man!! You don't ever say stuff like this out loud on here. RUN!!! NOW!!! Get out of there! Do not stop to grab anything, just hit the road man. Text me when you reach your state line.
