The not-so-nice realization is that eBay is a scam. The company makes money; does anyone else?
Of course they make money! After all, it's a business and not a freaking charity venture. Granted, one must be careful and use some common sense when adding up the cost as to what what they charge and what profit you expect to make, but in the long run I've sold my share of items (at a good profit) with ease as opposed to how difficult it may have been by placing some ad in a paper, etc. The same goes for PayPal.

^^^ Well, as far as it concerns Facebook, and or Twitter I'll totally agree. I wouldn't join either of those Internet moronic zombie plagued social media addicted misfit sites if you paid me.

Phil, that's madness and those social apps are harmless. You wouldn't join if you were paid?!?! That demonstrates a sort of paranoia and preconceived notions that should concern you. Join or not, but it there's nothing at all inherently evil there. It's just the evolution of societal norms, one that older generations have ALWAYS looked down upon. Ever generation looks down on those which come after and it's sad when that older gen looses sight of their own youth, seeing their way as somehow superior and the current youth as somehow lacking. Society is always evolving, an ever changing moving target. The end.
