DUNHILL !
my first pipe was a brigham which i still have - received it for my 18th birthday from a neighbour that smoked latakia straight
& he smoked only dunhills - but he bought me a lowly brigham.
about a year later my uncle gave me one of his dunhills which also i still have.
i expect my "dingbat" aunt when my uncle died threw out all his pipes but i have not asked my cousin as it might sound too ghoulish - but then again halloween is at the end of the month.
both pipes are old & somehow very " punky " flavor - passes no tobacco flavor - the stem of the brigham is so oxidized that the stem is almost closed & cant remove the oxidation - the slot to begin with was very poor. - the airway of the dunhill is very open - most pipes today are not as open - dunhill always knew what they were doing.
anyways ... now i have a quite a few boswells & am very pleased with them.

By the way, Bugatti and VW are manufactured by the same company which is called VW Group and I own a VW as well
I know that. Apparently it is also the biggest car manufacturing plant in the world (after Toyota). Funny little VW, the Bugatti that is.
Jvnshr: I see what you are saying, and you are probably right. Hell, I have never smoked a $ 1600 pipe, so I may not even know what a real good smoking pipe actually is. I would be really curious to smoke such a pipe just once, just to find out what this first class briar can do for me. There is a voice in my head telling me it won't do miracles as far as smoking goes, but I may be wrong.

I would just call it expensive smoking pipe
probably right. All we want is a cool, dry smoke. Let it be a cob or Dunhill, I don't mind.
