I bought some bulk Sutliff Red Virginia 515 RC-1 from Pipes & Cigars. It arrived dryer than expected; nothing drastic, just a little dry. It's still completely smokable.
It's my first time trying to cellar this blend so I don't know if the moisture level should be tweaked to more normal levels before jarring. I've read that dry tobacco doesn't age as well as properly hydrated tobacco. On the other hand I don't want to promote mold or cause some other unintended problem. Any suggestions?
