I keep mine in a decent sized series of shelves in the man cave. I still use the phrase "cellaring" to mean where I store the stuff.

Jokes aside. I keep it in a built-in closet, that's my cellar. Since the winery I have is for wine and spirits and it is 1200 kilometers away from my home. In the northwest of Spain. I hope in the not too distant future to take all the tobacco with me and leave it in this other wine cellar. It is a cooler place.

I swear, you have to really keep an eye on the square tins. One SG square tin I had, SJF from 2104, after I had the tin in my possession for around 6 months, I started to get a very faint smell of tabac coming through, so I opened and jarred it.
I only have at the moment 5 tins unopened sitting out, and 5 KBV bags sealed, along with 35 blends jarred, and placed in Sistema 1870 Klip It, plastic containers.

I keep the containers covered with a towel.

I keep them in transportable plastic bins for bug out situation in case uncle Sam wants to sample some of my tobacco.
well the term is borrowed from wine. Kind of like the way floor wax usually isn't a wax material but a material that you wax a floor with (defined as applying a coating of a protective substance). Your cellar is named after the activity not the location.
It's not to be taken literally...your tobacco cellar may not be in the cellar. Mine is, but that's where I have room.

What if your cellar is an attic? Why are we so closed down emotionally to admit that we keep things in our attics?
