Most people are spectators.

I’m the guy trying to tell the firefighters how to fight the fire.

It’s not just in the USA politicians havs such terrible problems with forthright honesty and fiscal discipline.

Germany has 83 million people, we have four times as many.

And for all the barbershop talk how broke we are, the GDP of Germany is 4.5 trillion and ours 28 trillion.

But the Germans only owe 2.5 trillion.

Remember the Germans have had national health insurance since 1888, even through two wars they lost, and Germany is a first world, powerful, wealthy and free democratic nation.

The Germans are allergic to deficit spending.
