Since I have many more pipes than I need for my smoking needs, even though I endeavor to smoke them all in rotation, I end up being a collector anyway, or an accumulator, at least. So collect away, whatever is your bliss.

One persons cheap pipe is another persons treasure. Here on the internet we can sometimes forget that many, if not most people can't afford to spend several hundred dollars on a pipe., or won't.
I hate the thought of some lurker thinking " I can't really enjoy this with a cheap pipe"

I enjoy seeing my pipes get wear, it brings out character. When I see a shiny pipe, I like to imagine how dull I can get it to look, I even enjoy the darkening of the rim.
