It's why the top Danish and Japanese carvers spend weeks fine-tuning their work.

Not when discussing tolerances to lines. You are now making exceptions for straight, curved, etc. and bringing a bit of artistic endeavor into whether something is a technical line or curve.

What I’m getting now is, if George would’ve phrased things better, his example would’ve been more valuable.
We’re talking about a pipe that is not a billiard, there’s only so many ways to discuss that. Or so I thought.

Don’t forget we’re talking about a man’s (not professional) work, which he seemed actually proud of. A little empathy would’ve gone a long way. We all know (at least now) what’s a billiard, that’s not the point. Even the mod wrote „OK, enough already with insults.“

Feelings? As I mentioned earlier, all he had to do was make a thread - “Hey, look at this pipe I made”. All would be well, and all the happy members would say “Nice Pipe”, and life would go on.
That didn’t happen, OP wanted to troll out a statement. He’s just completely wrong, in every aspect that has been presented in this thread.
