I'm finally finished admiring Dave's restoration work and I'm firing up a bowl of C&D USS Mason. Thanks for all the great comments.

Hi Everybody,
Our thanks to Keith for the nice posts regarding his pipes, and our restoration efforts. It is a beautiful pipe, and we were happy we could bring it back to its "pre-puppy" state.
The pipe was a true team effort. Mike Myers, our pipe artisan, hand cut your stem. To say he is pleased that you are so pleased would be a major understatement. Mike is an artist and a worrier, always worrying about how people will find his work. I don't know why he worries though, as his work is always beautiful and perfect
I raised and removed the bowl gnaws and refinished the bowl, so I can happily take credit for that. The pipe is beautiful, and to bring it back to it's former glory truly was a labor of love for both of us.
Thanks again, Keith, and thanks to all the others who left such nice comments too.

Thanks for the detail Dave and terrific work. I thought you WERE Houdini if you could have restored the original chewed stem. What an amazing duplicate! Hats off to you and Mike.

@ Dave Wolff and all the team of Walker Briar Works... Well Done! :worship:
I'm glad they were able to help you out, Keith. That is a gorgeous pipe.
If, (Gods forbid!), anything ever happens to one of my higher end pipes, I know exactly where I'm going for help.

That pipe has a second life fore sure. Its beautiful. I can see why you didn't get rid of the dog and it was worth what ever you paid for the referb.

Funny thing is, I have a cat that has been missing for over a week.
I would give every pipe I got to have that cat home safe.
I got some nice pipes, but at the end of the day they are just some pipes.
I miss my damn cat.

If he does it again, we might be seeing a new black fur pipe holder in his net post!

Wow.
That is one beautiful pipe. I couldn't tell from the first picture because we only got to see the side.
Perfect restore job as well.
Sorry GhostBusters; I'm calling Walker Briar Works.
