I am not a clencher so I don't have a problem with marks on a pipe. The down side is I can't go on lunts with my pipe.

These are not two nutsacks or butts. They represent teeth. I don’t even bite down on the stem I let it hang from my opened teeth like this:

I used them for a while thinking I'd keep my pipes from showing wear but I came to the conclusion that I was okay with all the wear marks I might leave on them and haven't looked back.
