@ashdigger . He has the best Peterson collection I've seen on this forum.
His Peterson collection is indeed the stuff of legend.@ashdigger . He has the best Peterson collection I've seen on this forum.
Quite sorry to exacerbate the PAD, but one day you may step back and look at your collection and be pleased that you were led on by the treachery of others. Then again, you may step back and look at your bank account and not be very fond of us. In any case, congrats on the new purchase...I am anxious to see it! (I hope you're not into fountain pens, that can get MUCH worse).
No apologies required lol! I accept full responsibility for my impulsiveness! A quality pipe that pleases my eye and is a good smoker will always be worth it to me!Quite sorry to exacerbate the PAD, but one day you may step back and look at your collection and be pleased that you were led on by the treachery of others. Same here. If it's a good smoker, it's definitely worth it. I've gone off the deep end a couple of times and have no regrets. No apologies required lol! I accept full responsibility for my impulsiveness! A quality pipe that pleases my eye and is a good smoker will always be worth it to me!
Fishnbanjo?Who was the Gentleman that posted a pipe in his collection every day before he passed? He had some fabulous meers. Forget his name...
And his meerschaum collection is the finest I've ever seen.@ashdigger . He has the best Peterson collection I've seen on this forum.
Two people come to mind fishnbanjo and weezel.Who was the Gentleman that posted a pipe in his collection every day before he passed? He had some fabulous meers. Forget his name...

Might be a bit above your desired range, but it's a pretty darn good deal on a handmade pipe from a well regarded maker.
Il Duca for sale..
Briar and Strawberry are close cousins - very similar in smoking characteristics. I treat my strawberries the same as briar. You're right, that is a bit outside of the price range I'm currently looking for. That said, it's a beautiful pipe, has the aesthetic shape I'm looking for, and the bowl size I'd want. If I were in a different financial position right now, I'd definitely consider it! :D
I noticed your link said it was strawberry wood? How similar are the qualities between briar and strawberry? Would you have to be particularly careful when smoking a pipe like that?
Good to know! Thanks for entertaining the inquiries of this pleb, even though he can't afford your wonderpipe!! :DBriar and Strawberry are close cousins - very similar in smoking characteristics. I treat my strawberries the same as briar.
