For me, having spent kid years growing up in the shores of Lake Superior, feeling the undertow of the Great Lake while swimming in its cold waters in the height of summer, and now having lived on the shores of Lake Michigan for the past twenty years where we memorialize the tragedy of the Edmund Fitzgerald each November, my blends that matches these cold seas would have to be G&H Brown Irish X, Happy Bogie, or Black Irish X.
