do I need more things? My goal is to some day to have a big cellar mini room and a lot of pipes, Thanks
nope you got more then you need. One pipe a fire source and some tobacco is what you need. But pipes are not a need thing as much as the space where need and luxury meet.

A pipe, light, and tobacco is all you really need. The rest are "add ons" and you will find what works for you (and get your own system and setup) eventually.

This forum is vary helpful with both advice and enabling/encouraging the purchase of more tobacco and pipes.

Just don't overthink things. Think less and smoke more.
@The Amish Tyrant If I smoke more I'll be out of baccy for the re-enactments and the Pirate Mutiny; the Redcoats & Revolutionaries and the Pirate Mutiny are both 2 day events so I'll need double the baccy:)

@Samuel Perez

You do need a sense of humour on these Forums as you’ll get your chain yanked.
But it’s all light-hearted.

I started out smoking aromatics, like most.
But that might NOT be the best starting point.

Aromatics are often moister (due to the casings and PG used).
Hence more difficult to keep lit.
Also they are more prone to causing tongue bite

English/Balkan blends are flavourful and easily identified. They are much easier to keep alight. And are better blends to start with.

If you can get a shag cut (the finest strands) you will find them the easiest to keep lit.

Lots of tobacconists offer sample packs of various blends.
A good way to feel your way around the different genres of blends

As for pipes - some have hundreds (literally).
Most make do and are happy with a handful.
Before you give in to PAD, get used to smoking the one you have first.
Then look around the various sponsors at their offerings to see if any shape calls out to you.

When I started out, I wanted every shape available (save a few I won’t be seen dead with 😱)
Tastes do change so commit only when it is something you can’t do without.
Often a better one becomes available the next day/week/month

And stocking up with tobacco before pipes is always good advice
