My wife is half Italian and she bought me a Savinelli. I am half Irish and I bought myself a Peterson. My wife’s father is Czech and so I was wanting to get a Czech pipe. My budget is $125 so I wanted to ask if anyone had suggestions.
Yes, I have a suggestion. Don't buy a pipe because it was made in "the old country". Buy it because it's a good pipe. If I did what you are suggesting, I would be smoking Dunhills not Castellos. And that would be a damn shame. puffy

Those are some beautiful Czech pipes. Unfortunately, the only ones I've seen are some totally basic basket pipes that certainly weren't "finds." Apparently there's a factory pipe industry there that churns out starter or souvenir pipes. Clearly that is totally separate from an advanced artisan pipe-making community.
