I would also like to give an honorable mention to Yuwei Pipes. I commissioned Yuwei to be a part of this project representing Taiwan. Unfortunately, due to some language barrier issues, the pipe he crafted was an absolutely stunning bent..........not cutty.

I know there has been a lot of debate about what is or is not a cutty throughout these threads, but this one, to me at least, was too far off the mark to be included, so he was replaced with another carver. However, the pipe he made is absolutely incredible and I am proud to own it.

If this is the spigot on the cutty Abe did I wish this angle had been included in the competition pics. Still would have voted for Jody’s craggy ball sack but this would have made it a lot harder to choose. Having that beveled edge on the shank side makes a big difference (to me)

Sorry I f***ed it all up for you :ROFLMAO:

If I ever did it again I would probably take my own photos though. Got lots of flak for the pics throughout. Unfortunately I'm no photographer (all I have is my phone) so that would require some leg work on my end for sure.

Hopefully you all still had fun.

Maybe you should charge a fee to vote.

It would also help weed-out the deplorables who sabotaged Jody's one-piece-masterpiece.
Haha, I'm with you man. That pipe was my favorite of the bunch from day 1 but the people have spoken. And they made a damn fine choice anyway. Abe's pipe is spectacular as well and will never be leaving my collection.
