Sometimes shops specialize. For example, if you are selling a ton of pipes, just restock the tobaccos that your pipe-buyers buy.

I keep a close eye on some brands in Cup O's and other shops lineup and they seem to have a pretty dull pencil and are running a pipe museum. I just don't understand why they wouldn't take a small profit fast over having a pipe sit in inventory for keystone after a couple of months. 8O

I wonder if they are turning over the pipes or if they are stuck sitting on a lot of pipes. When I ran a pipe shop in KY, we had a bunch of pipe inventory that didn't move much. We sold a steady supply of tobacco and then had high turnover of 10-15% of out pipe brands.

This is old gossip.
I met with Cathy and Shawn at the Chicago Show this weekend. All is good at Cup O'Joes. They may not have the inventory of tobacco that other online giants have, but they are doing well with pipes and cigars.
