Cotton Boll vs Rustics/Wild Tobacco

Tambolaka, mapacho, and rustica are much stronger.
I've seen tambolaka come up before, what is it and where can I find it? I can get rustica readily enough but variety is the spice of life
I still have a lot of homegrown rustica. It is strong, harsh, but Cotton Boll has been and still is the strongest I’ve ever had.
I m pretty sure Cotton Boll is rustica, maybe blended with something else…. Just a guess. It may be the processing, something in the casing? But, I’ve never been able to make it to the bottom of a bowl of CB. I’ve just fallen out asleep in my chair.

the question is where can one get cotton boll and what is a boll?
Somehow I find Cornell & Diehl Burley Flake #1 very strong - I find it much stronger than Rustica, Samuel Gawith Brown Rope, Gawith Hoggarth Dark Flake, Dark Birds Eye, Five Brothers or any other usually strong tobacco.
Indonesian burley rolled into sticks. It and mapacho were widely available on ebay until a couple of years ago.
What would it have been if Cowper hadn't written "The Task"??
I was referring to the actual straight rustica, not the Mac Baren blend.
Go with the boll bro. I love tambolaka (straight or blended with brown rope), but if you can find some these days, chances are a 160g log will set you back anywhere between $30-100us. I’m assuming you have tried WLT dark fire and/or dark air cured?
No I haven't tried their air cured or DFK. I bought some of their red va last Christmas on your recommendation actually, and it was good. Got some bright, basma, and Maryland too, for the apocalypse lol. I have yet to tear up the leaves and spritz them with casing and press a flake, haven't had the time. Are the DFK or air cured going to be stronger than Cotton Boll or wild tobacco you think?
The dark air cured works in a similar way to perique by metabolising (?) the nicotine content of the leaf it is blended with. The dfk is big and has a tangy bbq sauce flavour. I haven’t tried much in the way of wild/rustic tobaccos beyond tambo. haven’t tried the boll either.

A cotton boll is a single piece of cotton as it grows on the plant, or more commonly, the hard green pod that eventually opens up to reveal the cotton.
And it'll cut you up something awful working it. Flax has them too.
The WLT DFK tastes amazing. Best DFK I’ve ever had, but I didn’t find it all that strong. I’m sure it probably varies from batch to batch though.
