Cosmic, you're jes' a mess. Peanut rabbit stew. Gawd. Reminds me of my buddy Benny Ray Lee**, a lodge brother at the Auburn/Opelika Elks Lodge BITD. He was sitting at the bar one afternoon hugging his suds & somebody asked him if he wanted to go rabbit hunting that weekend. Didn't even look up, just said "Earl, I ain't lost no rabbits."
** -- For yankees & other folks outside of the deep south, yes, a lot of us do go by three names. Benny Ray, his real name, I swear, worked for the gas company. Everybody called him either Benny Ray or B.R., except his wife, who always called him Ray Lee. He was usually in charge of the cook crew for July 4th picnic at the lodge. The cook crew was up all night stewing (& getting stewed). The last thing that got cooked was a kid goat; that was what *we* got to eat in return for cooking up everybody else's stuff. One year B.R. made the mistake of letting his kids name it. All y'all Suthun folks know what that meant. And as long as I've rambled this long I might as well finish it -- yes, "all y'all" actually is something we do say. It means "everybody," as in, "every last one of y'all." Seriously. :
