I recently acquired a new meerschaum pipe that I really like, unfortunately the draft hole is drilled about 3-4mm high in the bowl. Is pipe mortar an appropriate medium to sue to correct this, or should I just live with it?

In my world everything is worth overthinking....Does it interfere with how the pipe smokes, i.e., is it worth over thinking?
Shiltpads…You could use those meer thingy's you put on the bottom of the bowl, can't remember what they are called, little discs...
Confusion say “Man who stand on toilet high on pot”.How does it smoke now?
"High" draft holes are no problem unless they are really too high.
Haha Hey I was close… I couldn’t remember what they were called exactly.Philtpads and filters are an option and come in many sizes and shapes.

Alternatives are meerschaum chips or Nording KeystonesI may order some of the meerschaum discs that are made to place in the bottom of the bowl when I order a new meer.
