Confessions of a Coffee Drinker (And Pipe Smoker)

Well, my experience was import/export between the US and Thailand, mainly specialty teas and medical journals of all things; there was also an ill-fated brick & mortar cafe that never got off the ground because of a problematic business partner. I was SCAA-certified for a few years, though, and established relationships with outfits like Harney & Sons, Teavana, Intelligentsia, Stumptown and Illy.
As for my whereabouts, let's just say the interwebs, shall we?

I pretty much skipped the coffee, altogether, this morning. Loaded my favorite cob with straight DF Kentucky and now I feel like taking a run around the neighborhood like Forrest Gump.

Enjoying black coffee all day and every day. Always brewing the old way. No fancy machines here but sometimes we grind ourselves.

I’m an 8 O’clock guy, it’s what I grew up on but I’ll drink all coffee brands. I mostly use the drip or K-Cup for convenience but have to say the percolator makes a really good cup when I have the time. That percolator gets me through power outages lol.

Espresso beans that I grind everyday made in a Bialetti Brikka Espresso Moka usually no pipe smoking but this morning with the weather permitting I did. For me it's more an occasion than a habit but I enjoy it all the more.
