I’ve yet to read a paper that has a finding that states “Spray vinegar on it”.

It's not that much of a mystery that vinegar/acetic acid has been traditionally used as a mold inhibitor. St Bruno used to advertise they used it on their blend as a preservative. The difference now is that in the post-McClelland era, the vinegar smell is considered desirable in itself. It isn't just a side effect. People like it. (Or some people do anyway).

Yes I did. My findings were that I'm 100% correct and everyone agrees except you.

You should be a political campaign manager...

So in other words you don’t know what you’re talking about...

Interesting how you waited until I liked your comment and responded before editing it to add a little dig at me. Very clever... you may well have a future in political campaign managment yourself.

Hardly... I’m watching Adam-12 and drinking a Merlot, not sitting on this thread... I’m semi-retired and livin the life...

Should I respond now or do you want me to wait until you edit a few more times?

In any case, the thread will still be there...

A lot of conjecture and speculation. I’m not necessarily saying I’m right, but I do tend to look into things and determine what’s reality and what’s BS. Force of habit. In my career I was responsible for developing processes and applications for business. Requirements gathering and documentation of business processes involved a little more than taking what one person might say at face value.

Basing decisions on who said what rather than whether they had any factual basis leads to pissed off shareholders and failed projects.

So that’s my frame of reference.

I’m not on this board to be the most popular, or the pipe tobacco guru.

would be like trying to replace Miss Universe with a cheap crack whore by spraying the crack whore with expensive perfume.

What'd you say about muh girlfriend?

In all seriousness, I'm glad I got a chance to try some McClelland VA to see what the fuss is. No denying it was quality shit, but I'm not going to say the '07 Xmas Cheer was much better than some of the aged SG Full Va Flake I've had. Maybe my palate isn't refined or maybe I'm at a disadvantage having not had a steady diet of McClelland'a for years, but to me, a red Va is a red Va. They're good or not so good or bad.
