Too damned cold up here to do that year round. But, I shouldn't have questioned your post as the reek isn't something I give thought to. I don't notice it in the vehicle nor, the house.
Simply turn the heat on. With the vent set to Fresh Air, it will heat the fresh air before it enters the cab and take the smoke, and heated air out the small crack in the driver's window.

I don't have a problem with it, I am asking what the community has experienced.
Let me just say this....I use to smoke cigarettes in my car and my wife would be disgusted everytime she entered it. She has NEVER said a word with my pipe smoking in the car after getting in after I've smoked in it.

The pipe smoke will dissipate just fine, given you have a window cracked

That's good to know, similar boat here.
I went for it today on the way in, pretty sure that if there is a whiff, it is super faint and I can live with that.

I've bought tins from cigar shops that have left a stronger odor than that pipe did today...

I smoke if I’m driving. Once a month I run my ozone machine inside and non-smokers say they can’t smell anything. I do crack the drivers window and run my fan. Smoking while I drive really helps prevent road rage, speeding and me getting sleepy. I just mellow out and go with the flow.
I was going to suggest an ozone machine too. They kill everything, bacteria, viruses and smells.

I don't dare smoke in my car. Too afraid of the air bag deploying and driving the stem through me and into the head rest!

I only ever crack my window an inch. With Alabama humidity, too much wind and the condensation will put my tobacco out. puffy

When I drive rental cars while travelling, of course I smoke in them, but I will turn on the recirculation in the AC and spray some Ozium in the floor boards and let that circulate a bit just before returning the keys. Not one time out of 100's of car rentals or even nazi no-smoking hotel rooms has anyone ever said anything about smoke, NEVER!
I was asked one time, not to smoke in the pool, so I got out and finished my pipe in a chair. puffy I'm not sure why that is a rule, because the damn pool is the safest place to smoke.
Hah! I was smoking my pipe in a hotel OUTDOOR pool once and was told it was not allowed…. even though I was the only person there. I too got out and finished the pipe sitting in a lounge chair before I went back in. 🤪

I myself make 2 special commute blends, blend 1 consists of 1 full tin of Blood Red Moon, a half ounce of any pure Virginia you prefer (hogs head for me), a couple large pinches of long cut perique that I shorten a bit with some sizors, I break up 2 flakes of H&H ODF and thats my cherry morning blend. The seconed is a blend of randomness that mainly consists of G&H American Delight, some flakes of LNF and some Acadian Gold perique (Russ's) and some extra goodies from a half tin of eight state burly 😆 🤣. I concocted these as a way to smoke with the wife mainly in the morning after dropping the kiddos at school and on my way to work. The kids say they love the smell, the wife doesn't mind and I get a full nic hit while still smoking a mostly aro blend that is completely non offensive.

I smoke in my car to and from work. I keep the sunroof open and the driver window down but my car still generally stinks like smoke. Also, ash gets blown around the car which makes us dirtier on the inside than it would be if I didn’t puff in it. Furthermore, sometimes I’ll set the pipe down in the car, forget about it, then drive which of course makes the pipe go flying to the floor or into the door which of course knocks ash and baccy out. All these negatives don’t stop me. I still love smoking in the car.

I loooooove the smell, and when I walk in my office from the pipe break, my coworkers comment that it's pleasant as well but that's residual from smoking outside, not in an enclosed small space. I will be cracking the window to let it out.
I just thought I would ask. In my old 94 I didn't care.
I may start smoking at the office on days I’m not client facing. There’s a little picnic table out back. Residual pipe smoke seems far more pleasant than cigar.
