Bruce Weaver called them pipeadelic. He was nuts for the puzzle work involving multi piece stems.
Heading into a Vault? ?May be absent for a bit so I replaced my avatar and profile wallpaper.?Plus, would it be me without a skull??
Sweet, can't wait to see it!Got one in the works
It is. But it seems some pipes do lend themselves to a bit of color. But…. My Grabow blue Viscount with a blue swirling stem is very OGBeauty is in the eye.....
And the beauty of these stems is that you don’t have to buy them! Plenty of traditional stems out there where I’m fine with the inclusion of colored stuff even if most of it isn’t my cup of tea.With briar all I want is black. Cobs and meerschaums are the only exception, where red or orange could be acceptable.
I don't want green, blue, purple. That goes for stems or stains!
Both of my meer billiards (one full size and one a nosewarmer) are smooth with very nice blue stems. The blue stem looks nice next to the white stone.Generally speaking, I hate 'em too. Especially on meerschaums, which should always be amber. (Just my opinion, delicados. Exactly worth spit.
Well, all you have to do is send me a pipe to put it on.Very boring here.
Black or amber
I don’t like Cumberland/brindle stems - should be restricted to bowling balls
I do like the look of amber tortoise shell though, and would love to have one.
@RustiePyles CPG - I’m looking at you
