Still trying to get my head around that Lakeland essence. A few have commented that the current blend has been toned down considerably. You must have been able to smell the older stuff from a mile off.

Lakelands are notorious for batch variation. British standards and all that, you know.

I love Ennerdale. One of my top two tobaccos!

Someone will no doubt think of bringing out a durian topped blend ?

It'll probably sell like, well, durians in China. ?

I grew up in Lex. When I was first married, we lived there a while over off of Hurstbourne in a super nice apartment that cost more than any mortgage we’ve ever had. Lol. We were young, good jobs, and no clue about housing costs.

My brother-in-law and his family live there, and he had a dental practice out in Anchorage for years.

I also went to seminary at SBTS. But that was while I actually lived in Lexington. But I obviously spent a ton of time in Louisville during that time.

St. Matthew’s/Highlands area was always my fave part of town. And I used to frequent the Oxmoor Smoke Shop quite regularly. Miss that place. Hope they’re still on business.

Indeed a Big Blue Fan. My wife is head of speech services for UK Healthcare and got all her degrees there. We’re bigger Cubs fans (lifelong) just bc we love baseball. But we watch the Cats all the time too.
