For those that aren’t aware, @Edna Bertin of Clarin joined PipesMagainze yesterday.

This is exciting and why? Well if I’m correct in my knowledge, clay pipes are suppose to be the beginning roots of the pipe world, and there are also only a hand full of clay pipe makers in the world.

And, if you want pure clean tobacco taste, you go with either clay or meerschaum, but Meers also ghost, clays don’t.

I think this all really exciting, one of the few remaining clay makers in the world. 👍

I did see something on a sad side of things, seems someone on SmokingPipes who bought a Canadian, had trouble with the cleaner, the pipe having a small airway and not straight.

If anyone buys a Clarin and sees issues, please, share your input and feedback to help Clarin improve! :)
seriously if you've never smoked a clay you really should just for the experience. And my experience with clays is that the bowl can melt your fingers off the smoke is super cool unless you freight train the bowl.
