Getting sent to collections can be serious, it can screw you up at the airport, all kinds of things, so my letter would have been a lot nastier than yours. What a bizarre way to do business. As this leaks out, lots of customers will drop.
Nor am I suggesting what anyone else should do. I'm simply relating what I decided to do.Jesse, thank you.
Everyone makes mistakes. The measure of customer service hinges on what happens next. The fact that I sent them the PayPal receipt showing that the order was paid for, and they chose to send my account to collections anyway, just shows the depth of disdain that they have for each and every one of their customers.
I'm not in any way suggesting that each and every one of you strongly consider never buying from Pipes and Cigars, CI, CigarBid or any other US subsidiary of Scandinavian Tobacco group. This is just my personal experience, and it has been simply awful.
Or animal husbandry
Yup, that was my inspiration! I listened to that album ("An Evening Wasted With Tom Leher") over and over as a kid.Reminds me of the old Tom Lehrer line about the inventor of the gall bladder;
His educational career began interestingly enough in agricultural school, where he majored in animal husbandry, until they caught him at it one day.
I stopped buying from CigarBid because of the wildly variable shipping charges. I had a very long conversation with a customer service agent after three orders of the same size saw increased shipping charges with each order. She could provide no explanation so I stopped buying from them.I'm not in any way suggesting that each and every one of you strongly consider never buying from Pipes and Cigars, CI, CigarBid
That he mentioned the Chinese in a 1959 song about atomic bombs and such was pretty avant garde, no?
