I have a couple Peterson churchwardens, definitely helps when reading or contemplating things. I need to get a couple regular ones although that aren't cobs. Used to have my grandpa's it was very ornate and well crafted. Dad took it though and who knows where it's at now. That'll be fun to dig through his hoarder piles later :ROFLMAO:

Anyone have one of those Nording churchwardens? Inexpensive, vulcanite stems, aluminum spigot mounts. And I even think they sell short spigot stems separately if you want a convertible. I’ve been contemplating one.

I just purchased a Churchwarden last month on a request from my wife as she asked about them. I’ve smoked it several times no real difference then smoking any other shapes to be honest.

Nice pipes though if you can get a good deal why not add to your stable. FAB26713-A61E-4136-ADAC-29EA50841945.jpeg

Right now Pipes and Cigars, a former sponsor, has on sale a moderately priced but known brand churchwarden, a Roma, for $34.99, which is a good price if you want to try this genre but don't want to mortgage your house.
