Did you see the wonky drilling? I'm surprised this passes anything LOL

A circuitous smoke draft no doubt. Maybe the factory used a faulty drill bit 🙃? Wonder if the rim will withstand the ”Knock Test” to remove remnants after a smoke? How well will the rim resist knocks?

The Results:

Honestly no worse for wear. The stem is just as loose as it was before, so freezing didn't change that.

I was surprised that the deep freeze eliminated all of that strange bowl coating.

So I guess if you want to remove bowl coating in your new pipe, just freeze it for a week haha!

Apparently the coating was water soluble.

I think it just flaked off, as it was sitting at the bottom of the container.
