Cheap Dunhill Pipes Too Good to be True ?

Hello everybody fairly new pipe smoker and antique pipe collector here, today I came across two really cheap dunhill pipes so without giving it much thought I bought them both. Once I got home and started thinking about it I started to wonder if maybe they’re fakes it seemed a little too good to be true any help or info would be greatly appreciated thank you in advance ?

The good news is at least to my untrained eyes, they look original. They should be fine smokers.

I’m no expert, but the band looks like an aftermarket repair job. May explain the price.

The bands are definitely nice original, but the pipes are the real deal. You have one “Patent”, which is pretty old. Nice finds.

Being fairly new to pipe smoking and immediately committing to collecting antique pipes carries a little bit of risk with it. There are plenty of "4 Dot" versus "Four Dot" pitfalls out there that can lead to rather expensive instances of buyer's remorse.

That’s true I’ve had such instances with other things too, thankfully nothing too big yet lol

Beautiful collection! I paid 50 a piece for mine which I thought was pretty cheap compared to what I’ve seen others sell for
