So I really like the rusticated to smooth look of the Vauen Admiral but I do not have to funds to buy one, nor do I have the funds to buy a similar finished pipe. I'm wondering if you guys this it is feasible to get this look out of a Dr. Grabow Savory-esk pipe? Or, should I just find and unfinished pipe and go from there? I know it kind of seems a little backwards thinking to change the look of a pipe, but I really (REALLY) like that design. Plus I'm a hands on kinda person, so modifying stuff I own is kinda my thing.
