I never had a problem with tobacco going bad. When I sold aged tobacco, the jars had never failed. The tobacco seemed fine. I never had a tin go bad, including SG rectangular tins; but as I sold most of these that had age, I should say no one reported anything spoiled.

If I had viable tins, I left the tobacco in them. Everything else I jarred relentlessly. I had 600 jars when I sold the bulk.
