Why is @chasingembers called Captain of the Black Frigate in the spot where everyone else's member rank is posted?

I think it's because he collects skulls.
The owner of the forum, can add a special title to member. I honestly can't remember why in chasingembers case, perhaps he can fill in the blank.
Well...he's been Captain of the Black Frigate ever since I've been on here, so.....maybe they just made an honorary title for him. I would have liked to join the crew, but not enough latakia for me.

Something about them liking the blend black frigate from c&d and then people band wagoning onto how awesome of a blend it was and putting pirate ships in their signatures.

Sort of. Black Frigate is a great tobacco, Rum and Latakia, plus who doesn’t like pirate stuff! Argh there be plenty of this kinda blubberin‘ bout all kinda tobaccy, I reckon. Then the other scaliwags started chiming in. T’was like that when I came aboard and I didn’t think twice, seemed normal to me.
Maybe he just really likes the blend...?

The question is if he collects skulls because he is the captain of the Black Frigate or if he is the captain of the Black Frigate because he collects skulls.

The Black Frigate captaincy came about six or seven years ago when many blamed me for getting them hooked on the blend.
