What makes you say it's Edwardian/Victorian? Or British? In the early 20th century it was quite fashionable to manufacture and sell pipes with that appearance, in particular in the United States. The metal doesn't appear, at least from the photo, to be silver nor gold (looks to be a nickel or nickel-alloy). The creamy polymer appearance of the stem. With nothing more to go on than just a glance at the ankle of this long-legged lady, I'd say she was American from perhaps the 20s - 30s.

Thanks for the responses, I will post a picture of the "full Monty". I say Victorian /Edwardian pipe maker because of an eBay description of a late Victorian Calabash for sale 6223but with silver mounting. I have not been able to find any more information.

Thanks for this response with additional information of another Calabash pipe with similar markings. The research continues.
