I have had open tins of Grousemoor and Dorchester now for 3 weeks (in ziploc bags). I knew they would dry out...but I did this purposefully to lower moisture content.
Problem is...when I smoke them now...they are "skunky" and don't taste at all like when I first opened the can. I smoked the tobacco in different pipes, so I know it's not the pipe.
Was this a mistake? Should I assume that the ziploc is poor storage even for a few weeks...
Should I have dumped the tin in a jar and dry out only before each smoke?
Thanks for your collective help....
