Atlanta changed, I heard. Back in 93, it was wonderful. Used to hang out at Buckhead all night long every weekend. I heard it's rather rough now days. It’s a beautiful place and very peaceful. I feel safer there than in Atlanta.

Buckhead is still nice from what I hear. I’m not sure if other cities are like this, but one street in Atlanta will be super nice and the next will have you looking over your shoulder. I lived in East Atlanta near the zoo and the old Braves Stadium for several years. I’ve had my fill of that place. If I never step foot in that city again I will be perfectly happy.Atlanta changed, I heard. Back in 93, it was wonderful. Used to hang out at Buckhead all night long every weekend. I can’t remember what year it was when I last went to Atlanta, but it had to have been no later than ‘91, because Spud Webb was still playing for the Hawks. Saw them play the Pistons at the Omni. It was generally nice, but we found ourselves in some sketchy places occasionally. Atlanta Underground was pretty cool, and the food at the Buckhead Diner was great. Saw the Civil War diorama. Cool place to visit, at least back then, but I wouldn’t want to live there.Atlanta changed, I heard. Back in 93, it was wonderful. Used to hang out at Buckhead all night long every weekend. It was a scene right out of Animal House. A German, an Irish, a Jewish, and a Korean (me) went into a blues club near Atlanta Underground. We left rather quickly. Nothing racial. The look we received was "get out!"I can’t remember what year it was when I last went to Atlanta, but it had to have been no later than ‘91, because Spud Webb was still playing for the Hawks. Sounds like the set up for a joke ?It was a scene right out of Animal House. A German, an Irish, a Jewish, and a Korean (me) went into a blues club near Atlanta Underground. We left rather quickly. Nothing racial. The look we received was "get out!"
Very excited for you as you begin this new ministry. You're certainly bringing high quality kit! This is the follow up to my post from last week. You can view that thread here: https://pipesmagazine.com/forums/threads/can’t-take-them-all-pipes-edition.85515/
Before getting to the tobacco I want to say thank you for all of the well wishes and generous offers to keep me well stocked for my future in Bulgaria. Since the last post I received my visa and will travel to Bulgaria to secure the necessary documents for my family on September 1st. Things are close!
Okay, now getting to the tobacco I intend on bringing. I can bring in 250g at a time. Well, each person 17 or older can bring 250g, so my wife will have some in her luggage as well. I have to take a solo trip to secure documents for the family and then will return for the family. All together I can legally bring 750g.

Does it have anything to do with the Daughters of Bulgaria Foundation? I only ask because I find it an interesting coincidence that Dal of The Pipe Steward did the same thing and still supports the foundation through his pipe restorations. Will be working with a local church, as well as serving a ministry that helps rescue women/girls out of sex trafficking.
You got it. Dal and his wife helped start the work. They are great friends of ours.Does it have anything to do with the Daughters of Bulgaria Foundation? Omg. Thank you. I've been racking my brain for the past week, trying to remember The Pipe Steward's site, allI could recall was the refinished pipes went to the a foundation. ✌Does it have anything to do with the Daughters of Bulgaria Foundation?
