I do enjoy smoking these Bashes but it has not been often. I will have to change that.

On the left is a Pioneer purchased at Telegraph and Banchroft in 1964

On the right a Butz Choquin bought at the Brier Patch before it closed.
I like the BC best.

I have four. A 1912 silver capped Comoy's in rough shape, an Orlik, an unsmoked Tanganyika with a badly oxidized stem and a Kaywoodie. Sadly all in storage so no pics. I had another that I loved but gave it to a friend who loves it even more than I did.

These are my good ones. One gourd with briar cap (Scottie Piersel), the other briar with olivewood cap (Charl Goussard).

I have a third, gourd with meer cap (no markings) but it’s mostly decorative and rarely gets smoked.
