C&D Smoking Pipes 20th Anniversary Flake and Dark Flake

Just saw this got released on smokingpipes.com. Sounds tasty. put in an order for some dark flake. Anyone else looking to grab a tin or two?

I agree with @BROBS as well, however I wanted to try the aged Perique. I only purchase the special runs if it’s something I think I’ll enjoy, rather than purchase it just because it’s a special run.

They both sound delicious. C&D rarely disappoints. I can’t place an order until next weekend, by which time I’m sure both will be long gone. I groaned in frustration when I saw it pop up on Instagram. This paycheck I already bought an Ashton, Ropers Roundels, Irish Flake, some Arango Balkan Supreme, Sutliff Sobranie Original Match, and Planta Full English. I suppoooose I’ll have to content myself with such paltry consolation prizes ?

I ordered 3 tins of each as they sound right up my alley and have 18 year old Perique in them which should be interesting. After adding P&P then taxes & duties they'll end up costing me about $25 each so I hope they're worth it?.

Passing on that Limited Run...But the next Limited Run(?) will be using 1959 Pre Castro Cigar tobacco.....That I will buy.

I have shopped with Smokingpipes for eight years now and have always had a great experience. They have top-notch customer service and will continue to get my business. All that to say I am happy to celebrate with them by getting some tins from this special run.

Ordered 15 tins of the VaOr and 5 tins of the VaPer. If some are available tomorrow, I'll order another 15 of the VaOr. I'll take my chances.

Sounds good. I might have to start keeping a fund aside for special runs. Which thankfully someone is giving us a chance to try tobaccos which aren't grown in amounts that could support a regular run product. And with how well these seem to sell it also seems like this great thing which gives tobacco growers a reason to try and grow a few fields of something that is a bit extra and not the usual strains.

In the case of C&D I would say so. Out of current production, I would take C&D out of anything made.
