Not sure. Something just feels off about the whole thing. A member joins two days ago and is wagging something like this.
I get it. If someone wants to do a reverse image search on the pics that might avail the situation.
That’s what I usually do. Found some FB scams that way. I only did one image but came up blank.
Me too. It does seem hinky. Someone who smokes pipes should and has this collection should know it's value.

Or yes a very time consuming scam…
One time I found a listing for maybe $5000 worth of pipe tobacco, it was a selection of all the 'good stuff' and I think it was going for $500. I called the number and the poor lady explained that she kept getting calls and she had no idea what it was all about, English was her second language. It seemed like the sophisticated/arsehole version of a prank call, and it was kind of funny in a bittersweet way, but I don't know why this lady deserved to be on the receiving end...
