A fine order. That newminster is a good one for future reference though.

It’s hard not to lose sight or simply not take notice of all these producers, I came into this with a reverence for SG, discovered Peretti...etc., it becomes a real rabbit hole but thankfully just reading about certain tobaccos somehow provides some sort of pleasure. With that said, if I make some unexpected money this week I’ll be ordering 8oz of Park Square just to be safe!

Haha, yeah I've been swallowed up by that rabbit hole myself. I probably couldn't smoke all the tobacco I have in 3 lifetimes. Going to have to post some for sale threads pretty soon otherwise one of these days my wife is just going to walk up and start kicking me in the dick.

Well you should tell her it’s actually a relatively inexpensive hobby compared to many other things. Although I’m new to this and my supply is sort of limited at the moment I’ve already Jarred a couple blends. Wine might be the most comparable consumable item outside of cigars, but can’t say I have the same self control with that, regarding cellaring.

It's a lost cause. No matter what I say she just points toward the dresser and two totes full of tobacco and the 60 some odd pipes and scowls. Hard to argue against. It is a little ridiculous.

Here
Comoy's Cask #4 is excellent. However, if you are looking for the perique experience, it may leave you wanting (think Orlik Golden Slices). The perique is almost not there sometimes. Still a great smoke.

If you don't mind burley in the mix, Haunted Bookshop is a nice, any time smoke. Same with Old Joe Krantz, with the perique being a bit more in your face.

Bullseye Flake is good fresh and gooder when aged, so jar up half your bulk buy and sit on it.

My wife too. A package came yesterday and she just looked at me and said “tobacco?” And I said “well yeah but I’m splitting it with a guy and it was a really great deal”.
she doesn’t seem to see it the same way.

Haha, yeah it is always viewed as smoking money in exchange for cancer in our house.

I have everything shipped to the office these days and may or may not have a secondary stash on the shelf away from spousal eyes.
