My Grandson got in trouble with Grandma for playing with/pretending to smoke one of Grandpa's pipes. I had remembered seeing this in the Vintage Toy Store. Now I'm in trouble with Grandma and she won't let me give it to him.

My 2 YO loves to sit with me with a pipe in his mouth, whenever I smoke. My wife thinks it's the cutest thing. We didn't want him sucking any tars out of pipes I actually use, so we got him a new MM of his own, and he's happy as a clam.

The setup is cool though. I'd keep my tobacco in it on my desk if I was still working, just the watch look on friends'/peers' faces. Very cool indeed!

When I was a kid our family would drive out to the "Old Fashioned Candy Store" in Olean NY. I always got a few of the black licorice pipes. They were about 4 inches long and shaped kinda like a Peterson Sherlock Holmes pipe.
I would have one in my mouth all the way home, it was an hour drive.
I'd eventually eat a couple, but then get yelled at 4 days later when I still had one stuck in my mouth....sticky and full of dog hair.

Wow, i'm shocked they haven't banned them. Over here they rebranded the candy ones so they didn't have red tips and all mentions of "cigarettes" were removed. Basically, they're just white candy sticks, these days.They still exist.
