So what is the Status of the Box Pass in 2024 and 2025? Did this FANTASTIC idea die out?

Now that I am settled in Colorado, I was looking forward to joining in 2025!

I found a great Pipe & Tobacco lounge here in Woodland Park, CO called the Tooth & Bear. A members only joint. They are only a couple of years old (maybe 18 months?) but the owner Jake and his investors have been working hard to expand their humidor. It has been very interesting to listen to them talk about the negotiations it takes with Vendors to get specific, sought after, higher end tobacco and pipes. It seems like it is very difficult.


I was hoping to buy some of their stock to help them and add to the 2025 Box Pass!

I believe he had an unfortunate accident on his motorcycle and got T Boned. My understanding is this has caused him to drop out of the scene whilst he recovers. This is information I have received second hand so I do not know how accurate it is but my source is usually spot on. I had written to him about four weeks ago but I have not had a response.

Damn.
My prayers will be with him. As a fellow motorcycle enthusiast that has had a couple myself and has lost more friends than I care to count, this puts things in perspective.

@woodsroad: Dan is indeed correct. Planning the invasion of a small third world country would be easier than trying to run the box pass. Maybe with an Apple Air Tag and a motorcycle courier on staff it might be possible but even then I have my doubts. Didn’t he vanish with the box or something? There have been so many road smashes I have lost count. The only one who made it work really well was Dan which is why I was always willing to donate good shit to get the box up and running!
