I'm with you on that one Renfield.
I never got the feeling like I was smoking dry or soggy leaves for that matter when smoking Gaslight. Just nice, smokey latakia.

Shanegreen- Oh yes! Gaslight is a wonderful smoke. I find it to be a little finicky about which pipe I choose, but when it clicks its good stuff................. ::

Currently, these are the blends that never fail for me: EMP, Amphora Full Aroma, Royal Yacht, Mississippi River and Black Frigate. ::

Capstan Blue, Dunhill line, P.S Virginia, Comoys Virginia, Gl Pease, these all tend to burn easily and are readily available.

Beefeater thanks! I find I have had difficult moments with Gaslight, but once it burns it is a latakia lover's dream come true. Same for Westminster. Not sure how long ti will be around.

Is it? I thought it was produced by Scandinavian Tobacco Group, not MacBaren. So it has changed now?

I believe I have to add C&D Bayou Night to the never fail list. I've smoked this blend every day since cracking the tin. It's freaking amazing. Strong and stout, Craig Tarlar knew what the hell he was doing.
