Since without my sobriety, I’m pretty sure I’d have quit having birthdays a long while back, I did celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of my recovery with an amazing pipe.
Grateful every day.

….but I do have almost two years to justify a cool pipe for 60th bday😉
Man, SB, you are incredible. Thirty years of winning the battle. What an accomplishment!!
And I cannot think of a better way to reward yourself than with a beautiful Roush pipe!!
Keep it up!!

The big guy upstairs is incredible, I’m just a drunk that got beat to a point of humility and surrender, then shown how to stay that way by those that came before me😉

Well, I recently tried to finally get a birth year pipe. I have about 200 vintage English pipes, including about 30 dunhills, but I never seemed to pick up a 1969 example.

This pipe recently came up on smoking pipes as a 1969 shape 56, so I thought WTH, why not.

It turned out to be a 1959 pipe.

still kept it cuz it's a sweet ass pipe, but still don't have a birth year.

Most of my pipes were gifted for B-days, holidays, etc., but I’m good at dropping hints. This Trevi, and matching tamper, was given as an anniversary gift a couple yrs ago. It was great to see the actual fountain this yrs, although it was roped off as the foundation is sinking, but still an amazing sight.
