Question, have you ever received or bought yourself a special pipe on your birthday? What made it special, was it the person who gifted it, what happened that birthday or that year, or was it a pipe you'd wanted for a long time? Is it still a fave smoker?

Only one and it happens to be a spectacular pipe and one of the most sentimental items I own.
It’s a Savinelli Autograph and it came from a very fine Man I’m fortunate enough to call a friend.
It’s dedicated to Capstan Blue and it so happens that it’s actually a damn phenomenal smoker!

Got a birthday coming up, noticed someone had a few Falcon Meerschaum bowls in stock, so I dropped a few hints and have reasonable certainty I'll be getting one or two!

My wife has typically given me a pipe for either birthday or Christmas (sometimes both) since we've been married.

As that's been more than 50 years, I have a lot of pipes.

Since without my sobriety, I’m pretty sure I’d have quit having birthdays a long while back, I did celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of my recovery with an amazing pipe.
