That's the way to celebrate!
I had a number of Scottie themed stands, used in my old display. The wood like ones are Syroco, a plastic wood made in Syracuse.

Tell me about the Kaywoodie keg pipe, I've never seen one before.

Al, I have no idea what I can tell you about the Kaufmann Bros. & Bondy pipe—anything would be pure speculation as to its origins. Brewery? College fraternity commission? Promo item for a bar in New York? No idea—like you, I’d never seen one before. The lack of the ampersand in the clover suggests late 1930s for a date is the best I can offer.

Susan was able to provide more info on some of the pipe stands that I didn’t provide makers for: the weird Captain bending over was made by Ronson; the Scottie with the cob pipe was made by Duk-It out of Buffalo, New York; the little Gnome is Australian, from the 1950s, and made by Walter Bose.

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes! It’s been a nice week. Every day above the ground is a good one in my book. I’m looking forward to attempting to turn the tobacco seeds that Susan gave me for Valentine's Day into full fledged plants. I also have some Yenidje seeds I’ve had sitting around for a year or more that I’d like to get growing.

Let us know how your planting endeavor pans out. This is something I've toyed with the thought of, but never have attempted.
